Evidence & accountabilityMeasure the change, not just the activity
FISI’s impact framework separates outputs such as people reached from outcomes such as stronger financial confidence, improved organisational resilience and movement towards employment.
What will be tracked
A practical reporting framework
Confirmed results should be published as FISI programmes generate reliable data. Until then, the site describes what will be measured instead of displaying unsupported percentages.
| Area | Example output | Outcome to understand |
|---|---|---|
| Financial inclusion | People receiving financial information or administration support | Improved understanding, confidence and ability to act |
| Digital inclusion | People supported with connectivity, devices or digital skills | Improved access to services, education or employment |
| Organisational resilience | Charities, CICs and social enterprises receiving support | Stronger records, compliance, budgeting and financial management |
| Skills | People completing training or practical experience | Improved work-ready skills and confidence |
| Opportunity | Placements, internships and work-experience opportunities | Progression towards employment, self-employment or further learning |
| Community value | Support delivered at subsidised or community-focused rates | More resources retained for frontline community activity |

Transparency commitment: no historic impact number is shown here unless it can be evidenced. As FISI collects validated programme data, this page should be updated with dated results, methodology and the population measured.
